Abstract: Background and need for the study: Osteoarthritis is the commonest type of arthritis and is characterized primarily by articular cartilage degeneration and a secondary periarticular bone response. OA is the 2nd most common rheumatological problem and has a prevalence rate of 22 to 39 %. An earlier randomized control study on one week of intensive residential integrated yoga therapy for OA knees had shown improvement pain and mobility
